	Steve, I mounted mine on the starboard gunnel and bridged into the running light wires for the light. Instead of drilling holes for the screws I used a marine sealant to secure the board to my boat. 	Roy, They ruler is fantastic! The one that you see is on the bow deck of my skiff, and it is not tied in to any power source. I have another one in the stern that is connected to my battery and it has really surprised me how long it has lasted. I have it tied into my stern light so when I turn on the anchor light, the little light in the ruler comes on, and it has lasted over 2 years. It goes underwater on every trip and also gets mud, weed, and guts all over it just about every trip. It is a fantastic invention. Thanks again for a great product!!! Sam
